If doors could talk, I wonder what this one would have to say? A 3 image HDR, detailing the original iron nails used centuries ago. The materials used to build Castelvecchio Di Rocca Barbena are obviously indigenous - just outside the Ligurian seaside villages of Loano, and, slightly interior to that, Toirano, home to some of earth's oldest relics of man's existence in this part of the world (Grotte di Toirano). I can't say if this door is as old as the castle (12th century), but I'm sure it has a history nonetheless.
